Lex Grew up In Tharwa in the ACT at the Outward Bound Base Camp and has been living in the Byron Shire on and off for the past 12 years. He’s the 3rd child of 4 siblings and grew up surrounded by adventure.
Passions: Lex loves everything outdoors including, Nature Parkour, connecting with his horses, ocean play (surfing, freediving, fishing, whale watching) and building/growing things. He has a background in martial arts, natural movement and loves creating permaculture systems that support regenerative eco systems.
Qualifications and experience: Black Belt judo jujitsu Karate - 10 years holistic exercise lifestyle coach in Melbourne -Diploma Sustainable landscape design over 10 years of Permaculture implementation - Cert IV community services- Trauma informed training -Co founder of Ninja Play academy -Rights of Passage Institute leader cert -12 years of youth work formulating Nature Ninja -Parkour and Flying trapeze coach at Circus Arts 5 years- many years running Boys walks and camps as rights of passages -2 years therapeutic Care worker at Caspa House Lismore region - 4 years Bruns bush school - 10 months wild song Bush school
Super powers: Lex has the ability to turn every situation and somehow turn things into some sort of play. Living up to his name he is always playing with the lexicon of language and can turn even the most reluctant pun recipient into a convert. His uncanny ability to be resourceful in each situation allows for creativity and abundance to flow.
Why do you do this work?
“I am constantly enquiring on what can contribute to the world and what will be of greatest benefit to bring us up to a higher potential. I see the challenges the younger generations are currently and will be faced with. I feel the calling to share the gifts of nature and abilities of heart connectedness while building resilience and skills to live a healthy and balanced life. I want to devote my time and energy to co-create a harmonious, powerful, support network of meaningful relationship
