Osmar was born in Nimbin, Bundjalung County, grew up in Burringbar and is the middle child of 5 siblings and uncle to 5 nieces and nephews. He had an upbringing closely connected to nature, always outside playing, climbing trees, swimming in the creeks and exploring the surrounding hills of Burringbar barefoot with his friends.


Osmar is passionate about primitive craft, working with fire, health and natural movement practices. He is active and nimble in his movements and is always engaging his body in nature with balance and spatial awareness.

Wilderness 1st aid

Cert 4 in outdoor recreation

Nature philosophy teacher trainer

1 year working with wildsong bushschool

Survival quest training
